Ed Brinkman ran a marathon for us back in May as part of the 2.6 Challenge and raised an incredible £2960. Ed works for FNZ and his boss Matthew Ferman CEO was so impressed by Ed’s efforts and the amount of money raised he decided to match it. Including Gift Aid the full total raised will be almost £6,000 – amazing! This will go long way to help us support older people, those with dementia and carers in Edinburgh.
Thank you so much to Morag, Neil and Michelle from Tesco Bank for walking a ‘marathon’ in the virtual Kiltwalk for LifeCare. Together they have raised an incredible £2532 from their friends, family and work colleagues adding the top up from the Hunter Foundation and Tesco the Grand Total should be over £4300. Every penny will help LifeCare support and care for the vulnerable older people and those with dementia in Edinburgh. The weather in Edinburgh was pleasant but unfortunately through in the west it was a different story – Morag braved the rain to finish with a smile.
