Fundraising is vital for LifeCare to continue our work. From taking part in a challenge event to organising your own fundraiser, there are many different ways you can raise money to support local older people.

We have charity places available for EMF 2026. We would love to have you join our LifeCare family to help raise awareness and vital funds to help support our services. There’s something for everyone, including Junior races 5k/10k Half Marathon Full Marathon Hairy Haggis Relay.
Sign up for a truly unforgettable experience by taking part in the Kiltwalk for LifeCare. Don your favourite tartan, dress up in fancy dress or just enjoy a day of walking. There is a distance for everyone; The Wee Wander (approximately 5 miles), The Big Stroll (approximately 14 miles) and for those looking for a big challenge, The Mighty Stride (approximately 25 miles).
Organise your own event such as a dinner party, quiz night or raffle. Perhaps you have a hobby you could turn into a fundraiser, for example, a charity football match, a games night or host a dinner party, There are endless possibilities and we are here to help.
We hold a number of seasonal events throughout the year at our much-loved community hub, The LifeCare Centre, situated in the heart of Stockbridge in Edinburgh. From our spring, summer and Christmas fairs, to our Burns and Christmas lunches, there’s something for all generations to enjoy.
