Choose LifeCare as your Charity of the Year! We understand how busy you and your team might be. Our Fundraising Coordinator will work with you to understand the needs of your business, and ways that you might be able to get involved to help us support local older people and unpaid carers.
Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to donate regularly to charities and good causes tax free. Payroll Giving is normally set up by your pay roll department. These regular donations will help LifeCare to ensure no older person is left alone or isolated.
Your support funds ours. Make a valuable one-off or regular monetary donation, or sponsor an event to support our vital services. Help us by donating gifts on behalf of your organisation, such as quiz books, cosy socks or gloves, selection boxes and raffle prizes.
Coming together as a team to help support LifeCare through volunteering is meaningful, can be a lot of fun, and is great for team building. From volunteering at one of our many community engagement events, to supporting older people out and about, there are many ways you can get involved.
Baillie Gifford chose LifeCare as their Charity of the Year for 2025, and the team have supported us in many capacities. They have hosted many fundraising events, with an inpsiring team doing the KiltWalk and raising over £5,000 which was match funded! They have also volunteered at our events, collected Christmas goodies for our clients and worked alongside us on future projects. We are so grateful to the brilliant team at Baillie Gifford, thank you!
The team from Duddingston Dental Practice chose LifeCare as their Charity of the Year in 2023, and have since decided to continue to support LifeCare indefinitely. The Duddingston Dental Team volunteer on a regular basis at our day service for people living with dementia, The Cottage. The team have also thrown themselves into many challenge events raising vital funds to support our work. We couldn’t be more grateful!
Balfour and Manson chose LifeCare as their charity partner in 2024 and the team have been very busy raising vital funds for our charity since then. This includes running a “Pimms in the Park” fundraising event and Christmas raffles. They’ve also volunteered at our community events, and have hosted a free Information Event in our Community Hub. Thank you to everyone at Balfour and Manson!
