The LifeCare Centre is home to our welcoming, fully accessible café – Café Life.
And we are not just a café – we’re a cause! By using our café you are supporting our work with older people and people living with dementia across Edinburgh.
We have eight rooms suitable for all sorts of events that are available to hire.
And, by hiring our great-value rooms you support our work helping older people and people living with dementia to live well and be independent at home.

We are a holder of the Breastfeeding Friendly Award from NHS Lothian as a breastfeeding friendly space. There is also an area available for mums who prefer privacy whilst breastfeeding.
We have multiple baby changing stations on site.
The centre and all it’s rooms are accessible with buggies with a lift to access our upstairs rooms.

We have accessible toilets on the ground floor, all with emergency call buttons.
While there are no Blue Badge parking spaces on Cheyne Street, single-yellow lines and Pay-and-Display spaces are available on surrounding side streets.
