The LifeCare Centre is a unique, welcoming multi-generational community space in the heart of Stockbridge. Our bright, accessible hub brings people together for activities, classes, groups and events. The Centre is home to our Community Café, one of our day clubs, and a range of affordable, fully accessible rooms available to hire. By visiting the centre, you are supporting our vital work as a charity ensuring no older person is left alone or isolated.
CaféLife is a fully accessible, family and dog friendly community space. Join us every week day between 9am and 3pm and treat yourself to a variety of home made sweet and savoury food.
We have five fully accessible rooms suitable for all sorts of events available to hire. By hiring our great-value spaces, you support our work helping local older people to thrive in their own homes and be active members of their community.
There are all sorts of events, groups, classes and activities happening here at the centre, run both by LifeCare ourselves and by external activity providers who regularly rent our spaces. Get the latest on regular classes and groups as well as upcoming events.
We are a holder of the Breastfeeding Friendly Award from NHS Lothian as a breastfeeding friendly space. We have multiple baby changing stations on site. The centre and all its rooms are accessible for prams and buggies with a lift to access our upstairs rooms.
The LifeCare Centre and CaféLife is fully accessible with disabled and ambulant disabled toilets.
The centre is located in the heart of Stockbridge.
