New free fun play sessions bringing the generations together

Families with young children are invited to join us for relaxed, fun and free intergenerational sessions, bringing little ones together with the older people who attend LifeCare’s day club.

Led by local storyteller Claire Mulholland, sessions will be packed with stories, singing, music and games.  Each week we will create special memories when children and older people spend time together, playing, laughing and sharing experiences. It’s a simple way to bring the generations together and create connections in a warm and welcoming environment.

Suitable for children aged 1–5 – parents and carers are requested to stay for each session.

When: Every Monday 11-12 noon, from 17 August to 14 September

Where: LifeCare Hub and Café, 2 Cheyne Street, Stockbridge, EH4 1JB

To reserve your space please email sarahduckmanton@lifecare-edinburgh.org.uk

The LifeCare Hub and Café is a family-friendly venue, with plenty of space for prams and buggies.  It’s a perfect spot for coffee or lunch before or after, making it easy for families to come along and join in.

We will still have our free pop-up play running in the café from 9-12, so why not do both?

These sessions have been made possible thanks to generous funding from EVOC.
