Easter at LifeCare!

Easter kicked off in the LifeCare Centre with Vintage Vibes Afternoon Tea event recently! Vintage Vibes is a partnership project between LifeCare and Space, helping to tackle isolation and loneliness among over 60’s (called VIPs) in Edinburgh. VIPs were seen with smiles all round, enjoying a delicious Afternoon Tea, singing by the choir service, and tasty Easter eggs. Vintage Vibes decorated our CaféLife space beautifully, with bright yellow daffodils everywhere. Click here to find out more about Vintage Vibes.

We also recently held free pottery painting sessions in our café during the Easter holidays. Over two days, we saw some lovely pottery painted by both adults and children alike! With pottery supplied by Doodles, we provided all the materials needed to create beautifully painted eggcups, mugs, plates and animals. Pottery will be taken to Doodles to be fired in the kiln. This activity was made possible through being awarded funding from The Edinburg Wellbeing Pact: Enliven Edinburgh, fundraising and donations are essential so we can continue to provide our important services and community activities.

Clients at our Day Clubs also got creative for Easter with egg painting and colouring in. We loved their creations! Click here to find out more about our Day Clubs and the fun activities they get up to.
