Losing weight is not a normal part of ageing but there are many reasons why older people are at risk of weight loss and malnutrition and this can have a serious impact on health and well being. When people are malnourished they are more likely to be admitted to hospital and stay there longer and are at increased risk of infections and falls .

Check out this great resource from the Malnutrition Task Force which helps you know what to look out for and gives advice and tips on what can help.

Getting Financial Help

Many people do not claim benefits that they are entitled to. Receiving these benefits can help make life a little easier.  Check out our quick guide to support available.
