Free Classes and Activities

Are you an unpaid carer? Do you support another adult – friend or relative – due to their age, illness or disability?

Join us to enjoy a new activity or get back to something you love. All activities are drop in and accessible. You’re welcome to bring along the person you care for.

Free, thanks to generous funding from Shared Care Scotland’s Short Breaks Fund.

A Rambling Curiosity

Every second Monday 

10.30am – 12.30pm

Follow your curiosity through free flowing conversations and writing freely. All that is required is a notepad, pen and a pinch of curiosity. No experience required, all welcome.

Art Workshop with Sally

Mondays at our location in Portobello

1pm – 3pm

Join our art classes, run by Sally from Studio 48, where we will explore loose, illustrative watercolour, Brusho and pen and ink techniques. Designed to build confidence and connect with others with a focus on creativity not perfection.

Suitable for all abilities!

Zumba with Fergus

Mondays

4.30pm – 5.30pm 

A feel-good fun dance class focusing on all elements: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance! Suitable for all abilities.

Massage Therapy Sessions with Cheryl

Tuesdays

11am – 12.30pm

Celtic and Chakra Meditations (and journaling) with Lorna

Wednesdays 

10.00am – 11.00am 

Drop-in group meditation practice weaving Celtic spiritual practices with the Bhuddist & Hindu Chakra energy systems in a guided meditation for beginners or people returning to meditation.

Yoga & Pilates with Move with Fiona/Chair Yoga (alternate weeks)

Unwind, relax and look after your physical and mental health.

Chi Gong with Noah

Wednesdays   STARTING 19TH AUGUST

12.30pm – 1.30pm

Understanding Chi Gong as a practice to find your own path to relaxation and disconnection from stress or worries. Join Noah to learn about the practice of Chi Gong, its origins and how this ancient movement can aid true relaxation
