Christmas lunches at CafeLife

Our Christmas lunches this year featured a full turkey lunch with all the trimmings (vegetarian option was available) as well as traditional Christmas Pudding and Custard.

We could not have done it without the amazing volunteers from Leonardo. Volunteers worked tirelessly to set up the café, arrange tables, take orders and serve food as well as tidy away at the end.

We were also lucky to have a visit from Mark Stead, Vice President for Leonardo in the UK. Leonardo have chosen LifeCare as their charity partnership and have supported us to release our beautiful Christmas Cards drawn by our Clients, as well as provide hard working volunteers. We also received a visit from Lewis Melee from The Hibernian Community Foundation. The Foundation are working hard to provide older people, including some of our clients, Christmas dinner delivered on the 25th.
