Congratulations to our winners!

LifeCare called for all mini-artists aged 12 and under to submit artwork with the theme ‘imagine yourself when you are 80 years old’.

We have loved the variety of artwork submitted, from a karate-granny to fun at the beach at 80.

We chose this theme to try and engage children with our charity’s ethos, as well as part of LifeCare celebrating it’s 80th year of helping the local community.

We provide support to older people, those living with dementia, poor health or mobility and those who care for them. Our services support people at home, at our community centre and at our clubs.

We have had some amazing prizes which were kindly donated to us by Ginger & Pickles bookshop in Stockbridge, Camera Obscura and Edinburgh Zoo.

Our amazing winners were picked by Val McDermid. We invited the best-selling Scottish author to LifeCare last week to officially reopen our café and sign copies of her books.  Click here to read more about Val’s visit to LifeCare.
