My father has early on set dementia and lives at home. Can you help?
Our registered one to one Outreach service supports clients who have dementia and live at home.
We offer various services including; personal care, cooking the evening meal, getting out and about, developing friendships and enjoying companionship.
Can you help me with household tasks as I am unable to cope on my own?
Our Help at Home service can help with household chores including; hoovering, washing and ironing, shopping, running errands. Nothing is too much trouble and we offer a flexible service.
- Do you offer dementia day club services?
Are the staff qualified who run the dementia club's?
We take pride in training our staff to SVQ level 3.
Our club’s have also been rated Grade 6 from the Care Inspectorate.
What is the process for joining a dementia club?
We would invite you to visit us, we would then arrange a trial period to assess your needs. A place would then be offered, if all satisfactory.
I have dementia and am aged under 65 years. What services are available to me?
If you are aged under 65 years and have been diagnosed with dementia, all of the above range of services are available to you.
Can I receive help to pay for these services?
Please get in touch with Self Directed support, Edinburgh City Council to be assessed. They will advise you of the support available.
