Projects and Appeals
We have several key projects that we will be raising funds for in the period 2009 to 2012.
Completing these will allow us to open up our facilities to broader use by the community and assist our service users, who are frail and who have dementia, to particpate in the community in a way that is appropriate for them.
A consequence of succeeding in raising the funds needed for these projects is that LifeCare will be able to engage with new opportunities and generate new income streams in support of our work with the frail elderly and people with dementia living in Edinburgh.
-
The creation of a dementia garden for our St. Bernard's Club
-
The main kitchen refurbishment
-
Refurbishment of the dining room area to creat a community cafe and function room
-
Refurbishment of the Reception Area
-
Energy Saving measures throughout our venue, Stockbridge House
-
Roof replacement - three sections
-
Community Activities for older people - a new programme
-
Outings for older people - places of interest and shopping trips
We could not do all that we do without your support - All support is greatly appreciated.
